Strawberry Ice Cream

Strawberries, sugar, and cream.

From the box of A.D. from Lutz, Florida, by way of Pennsylvania in the 1940s, and originating in Ohio in the 1920s.

Strawberry Ice Cream

[Ingredients:
2 pints of strawberries
1 pint sugar
1 quart cream]

Mash 2 pints of strawberries and one pint sugar together and let them stand about two hours. Then pour them into one quart of cream and freeze.
