1/2 cup small pearl tapioca
Cook 1/2 hour in 4 cups hot water–stir often.
Add 2 packages orange Jell-o, stir and cool. [Let set.]
Add 1 can drained mandarin oranges and 1 (8 oz) Cool Whip. Put in fridge.
Yesterdish suggestion: I’ve actually encountered this in the wild, and the well-drained oranges are used as garnish on top of the Cool Whip in the preparations I’ve seen. So I guess what I’m saying is, add the Cool Whip, then the oranges.
