A citrus-cranberry punch.
A family recipe provided by Jennifer Kiel of Washington, DC, from her mother-in-law’s collection, started in Kent, Ohio.
Cranberry Cooler
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 cup orange juice
1 pt. bottle of cranberry juice cocktail
1-1/4 cups sugar
4 cups iced water or chilled sparkling water or ginger ale
Lemon slices
Combine lemon, orange, cranberry juice and sugar; stir until sugar is dissolved. Add water, pour in ice-filled pitcher or punch bowl; garnish with lemon slices. Makes 16 4-oz. servings.
