Cranberry Nut Bread
3 c. flour
1 1/2 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 c. milk
3 Tbsp. melted butter
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 c. frozen cranberry relish (partially thawed)
Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
Combine milk, butter and egg; add to dry ingredients. Beat until flour is moistened.
Fold in nuts and relish. Pour into greased loaf pan, 9-1/4″ x 5-1/4″ x 2-3/4″. Bake at 350 deg., 1 hour 15 minutes. Remove from pan immediately.
