Sort of thing you might use to make a sandwich out of leftover ham.
From a box sold in Canby, Oregon.
Poppy Seed Rolls
2 yeast cakes
2 c. buttermilk or sour milk
3 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. margarine (melted)
3/4 tsp. salt
1 egg white
3 Tbsp. poppy seeds
Combine yeast in bowl. Add sugar to milk; add margarine. Stir till all dissolved.
Sift flour with salt and soda. Add to yeast mixture. Stir smooth.
Place in greased mixing bowl. Let rise, then form in rolls. In greased pan, brush with egg white and sprinkle with poppy seeds. Let raise.
Bake 400 deg. for 20 minutes.
