Carrot Cake

With orange glaze.

Missing a few measurements and one crucial ingredient, but I think I’ve filled in the blanks.

From the box of F.T. from Great Bend, Kansas.

Carrot Cake

(1/2 recipe)

1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3/4 c. of oil
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1-1/4 [c.] grated carrots
1-1/4 [tsp.] cinnamon
1/4 c. nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Bake at 300 deg. for 35 to 40 minutes.

Orange glaze:

[1/2 c. sugar]
1/4 [c.] cornstarch
1 Tablespoon orange peel
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 [tsp.] lemon juice
1/2 [c.] orange juice
1 Tbsp. butter
