Jam-Oatmeal Bars
1-1/2 cups sifted flour Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Mix with sugar and oatmeal. Cut in butter until crumbly. Press 2/3 of the mixture into an 11×7 baking pan. Spread with jam and top with remaining crumbs. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool and cut into bars.

Oatmeal Jam Bars
1-1/3 c. flour
1/4 t. salt
1/3 c. brown sugar, packed
6 oz. cream cheese, softened
3/4 c. blackberry jam
1/4 t. soda
3/4 c. quick oats
1 t. grated lemon peel
1/4 c. softened margarine
1 t. lemon juice
Stir together flour, soda, and salt. Add oats, sugar, and lemon peel.
In small mixing bowl blend cream cheese and margarine; cut into dry ingredients till mixture is crumbly. Reserve 1 c.
Pat remaining crumb mixture in bottom of greased 9×9″ pan, bake 20 minutes in 350 deg. oven.
Mix jam and lemon juice and spread over pre baked crust. Sprinkle the reserved crumbs. Bake 15 to 20 minutes more.
Cool and cut into bars.
