Cucumber Salad
Mix together:
2 cups sugar
1 cup vinegar
2 Tablespoons salt
1 teaspoon celery seed
Then add:
7 cups sliced peeled cucumbers
1 cup chopped green pepper
1 cup coarsely chopped onion
Chill–keeps one month.
Cabbage Salad
Shred 1 head of cabbage, slivered carrots, and onions. Finely chopped green pepper.
Bring to a boil and pour over cabbage and refrigerate:
1 cup water
1 cup vinegar
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
