Carrot Casserole

“A good casserole” with slightly different proportions. Compared to this version, I mean.

From the box of F.J. from Sun City, Arizona. Some cards suggest a family history in Missouri and Kansas.

“A Good Casserole”

Cook 2 cups sliced carrots for 5 or 10 minutes. Drain and put in buttered casserole.

Add 1 small onion, chopped and sauteed in 1 T. butter.
+ add 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese.
+ add 1 can of Cream of Celery or Chicken soup.

Top with leftover dressing.

Bake 30 min. at 350 deg. or until carrots are tender.

I also used 1/3 cup half and half or milk.
