Lemon Sauce

Not really the most important information on the other side. But I followed the directions anyway.

From a box sold in Louisville, Kentucky.

Lemon Sauce

Add 1/2 cup sugar to 1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch and mix well. Add 1 cup boiling water slowly. Cook until thickened, stirring all time. Add 2 Tbsp. butter and 1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice as soon as removed from heat.

To make fluffy sauce for apple dumplings, stir half-dozen marshmallows, cut fine with scissors, into hot lemon sauce. Beat until marshmallows dissolve.
